Biography
Frederick was born in 1630. He emigrated to New Amsterdam with his parents in 1649. He passed away in 1686. Fredrick Hendrickse was a cooper in New Amsterdam.
He was the captain of a trading boat on the Hudson River.
It is suspected that he married in Albany. His will is dated 22 Feb 1686. It said, being sick, that his wife Elizabeth Salomoms is to have full power of his estate , but if she re-marries, then half is to go to the children Henry, Solomon, Sarah, Catherine, Gerritt, Philip, Jacob, Isaac, Rebecca, Abraham. There are two inventories of his estate, one is dated 12 Feb 1687, the other 13 Oct 1700.
